My NRI/ PIO friends,

Indians around the world have carved a niche for themselves in their respective fields. These Indians scattered in myriad of places have a deep rooted sense of belongingness for India and a tenacious bond of love for their motherland which unfortunately is either not recognised or not paid its due importance.

The NRIs with their need and desire to maintain links with the motherland are kept at bay owing to legal problems, lack of representation and appropriate counselling. We, therefore, at the Bhartiya Society have made it our primary objective to unite and gather the influence of NRI’s/PIO & represent them before the Government of India or before any other body whether in India or elsewhere. It has been a general observation that NRIs/PIOs have a great affinity, attachment & feeling for their country & countrymen but they do not find any appropriate media or active body which provides effective assistance to maintain this bond. We therefore have come forward to fulfil and cherish this need by offering to NRIs/PIOs its membership to provide desired services. Bhartiya Society shall unite and represent all issues concerning its NRI/PIO members for the advantage of the community and raise them before the concerned authorities.

It has been realized that although NRIs/PIOs  constitute a major force all over the world and are contributing a lot towards the growth of the country in many ways by sending foreign exchange, by way of investing foreign exchange in real estate and other business projects or by other ways. Unfortunately, no genuine help, guidance is provided to NRIs/PIOs in return of their contributions, which discourages and restricts the growth of investment in the country of their origin. Even for their legal issues or disputes in India, they are not properly looked after & are also charged exorbitantly. Hence, the NRI/PIO members shall be provided all kinds of legal opinion, investment advises, guidance and help by Bhartiya Society in coordination with ASC, Solicitors & Advocates, through out the year. Such services may be of following nature: -

• Legal opinion & guidance on any concerned matter including Inheritance/Succession, Mutation, Will, marriage/Divorce, Preventive Reliefs, Grant of Lease, Taxation, Real Estate, and Investment etc.
• Coordinate with the Govt. Authorities if the need may arise or if requested to.
• Put forward your demands or needs before the concerned Authorities.
• Correspond with you regarding the progress of your work and send you legal news, which may be useful for you. Render prompt advice to shape the matters in such a way that no legal complications arise in the future.
• For those who are willing to invest we shall provide various services starting from locating the land to liaison and hand over the complete office with manpower, if required.
• Representation of a legal matter before the Court or any other Legal /Administrative Body.
• We can handle complete litigation and documentation; help transferring funds globally within a legal framework, Help in mergers/ acquisitions by providing guidance in legal, financial and taxation matters.   

Thus with a vision to represent their issues and to protect their interests for the purpose of providing them the legal fortification, this is a devoted step by us. In order to give life to this vision & thought, international Conferences  are being organized for a face to face interaction  and offering the NRIs/PIOs  with an in depth picture. Therefore in addition to the legal & investment related issues/interests, I invite participation from NRIs/PIOs with a desire to tie them in a bond and to strengthen their influence.
