BHARTIYA SOCIETY FOR SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

INTRODUCTION

The Bhartiya Society for Socio-Economic Development in Global Arena is a non- profit making organization registered under the societies Act 1860 of Indian laws. The primary objective of the Bhartiy Society is to improve the socio economic conditions of India and provide unity, representation and legal/investment support to NRIs/PIOs.

Bhartiya Society is formed by experts of a varied Diaspora, cohesively focused towards the socio economic amelioration of the country in their own respective arenas. The Society takes pride in having Mr. Alok Sinha Advocate Supreme Court as its Vice President. The society is formed with a view to ameliorate the socio economic conditi;ons of the country through direct initiative by way of conferences and programmes towards inviting foreign investment by motivating foreign investors, NRIs and PIOs. The main object of the society is to promote bilateral trade & investment relations for the prosperity of India and Indian people and to create employment which will maintain the social equilibrium of the social structure of the country.

The Society therefore, plays the role of catalyst in promoting foreign investment to India and endeavors to unify NRI associations, Business Houses, Lawyers, Bureaucrats, Parliamentarians to create an economic environment which is promoting foreign investment to India and endeavors to unify NRI associations, Business Houses, Lawyers, Bureaucrats, Parliamentarians to create an economic environment which is conducive to foreign investment. The Planning Commission of India (India’s Apex Body for Economic Decisions) has also supported number of ventures of Society for attracting FDI in the country.

To achieve this aim, the society has opened three cells / wings named as:-

NRI Cell:

The main objective of the NRI cell is to provide unity to the NRIs/ PIOs across the globe and help them to raise a strong voice against any ill treatment with an Indian/NRI/PIO all around the globe.

Besides this society also understand that Indians around the world have carved a niche for themselves in their respective fields. These Indians scattered in myriad of places have a deep rooted sense of belonging to India and are one or the other way attached to India. Since independence, the Indians settled abroad have been returning to discover new opportunities for interacting with their homeland.

Investment / Match making cell

As Bhartiya Society has aim to improve the socio economic condition of India. This can be reached by creating more employment opportunity for this country, consequently to achieve this aim, Bhartiya Society felicitates the investors and promotes bilateral trade relations. The services include Match Making and advice on investment options in india.

Today's India is a land of huge opportunities for global investors. The reforms process that the nation embraced a decade ago made India a hot investment destination in eyes of investors. India's economy is sizzling and is one of the fastest growing in the world. India has one of the youngest populations in the world. There is a scope in every field whether you talk about infrastructure or telecommunication. Though foreign investment is automatically approved in various sector but there are still some sectors where approval from FIPB/ DIPP, that means the Government bodies are   required. Besides most of the sectors requires partnering / joint venture with an Indian partner. Therefore for any foreign investor there is an inherent need to collaborate in one way or the other with their counterparts in the subject country. We, the society, thus aim to provide a platform for such collaboration to facilitate investment through either route. The society is having database and is in touch with various Indian Companies ranging from small scale to medium as well as large scale companies who are interested in foreign collaborations. Some in terms of finance and others in terms of technical knowhow. Therefore, society endeavors to play a role of catalyst to provide a platform for the foreign investors to locate a Suitable match making partner for a fruitful business association.

The match making alone without knowledge of law is a futile exercise. Therefore society also provides the legal, technical / procedural assistance through ASC Solicitor & Advocate to match seeking companies.

As the foreign investors may not be so well aware of the legal, technical as well as locational advantages / barriers, therefore society also provide in hand information about various sectors and investment potential in India, if so desired by the investor. Besides specific queries and doubts would also be addressed with the help of ASC, Solicitors & Advocates.

Legal Cell:

Bhartiya Society has opened a cell which is supported by professionals to provide a single window service to NRIs/PIOs for all type of legal support. This cell provide free legal aid to those who lack the adequate resources to represent their cases. Bhartiya Society offers legal aid to those who are weak and require assistance to represent themselves before the law.

The legal-aid cell of society is working under the direct supervision and control of the President of society, Mr. Alok Sinha, who is a notable Advocate of Supreme Court of India practicing from more than 25 years and advising most reputed companies of India.

Therefore Society has opened a cell which is supported by professionals’ to provide a single window service to NRIs / PIOs for all their primary legal and investment issues in India. The NRI’s/PIO members shall be provided all kinds of legal opinion, investment advises, guidance and help by Bhartiya Society though the support of  ASC, Solicitors & Advocates, through out the year. Such services may be of following nature: -

  • Legal opinion & guidance on any concerned matter including Inheritance/Succession, Mutation, will, marriage/Divorce, Preventive Reliefs, Grant of Lease, Taxation, Real Estate, and Investment etc.
  • Co-ordinate with the Govt. Authorities if the need may arise or if requested to.
  • Put forward your demands or needs before the concerned Authorities.
  • Correspond with you regarding the progress of your work and send you legal news, which may be relevant for you.
  • Render prompt advice to shape the matters in such a way that no legal complications arise in the future.
  • For those who are willing to invest we shall provide various services starting from locating the land to liaison and hand over the complete office with manpower, as are required.
  • Representation of a legal matter before the Court or any other Legal /Administrative Body.
  • We can handle complete litigation and documentation; help transferring funds globally within a legal framework, Help in mergers/ acquisitions by providing guidance in legal, financial and taxation matters.

Bhartiya Society has an excellent track record of organizing high level conferences/seminars for the development of law and removal of hurdles which comes in the way of smooth investment and hinders the prosperity and growth of the India. Besides various reunion functions, conferences and seminars are organized to unite NRIs/ PIOs and to address their problems / querries / grievances.

Eye Lid Global India

Besides this society has also come up with a quarterly publication named as Eyelid Global India, which contains three sections named as Legal section, investment section and General. These sections provides information and updates about legal issues, investment opportunities and general updates about India.
